Seeing freighters from the top of Brockway Mountain makes you really appreciate the vastness of the inland sea they navigate. Up there you feel like you can see forever.
It seemed like every road you drove down was incredible for fall colors this year in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It was really hard not to stop at every turn of the road and snap shots like this. Beautiful scenes like this were not without obstacles, just hours before I shot this it was white out conditions that made the roads undrivable. I'll take a little snow for scenes like this any day.
