In far western Michigan, where even the time zone is different than the rest of Michigan, you can find this rocky waterfall on the Presque Isle River. Manabezho Falls is just one of the many waterfalls in the last mile stretch before the river meets Lake Superior. The view of the waterfall from above allows you to see the different paths the river is forced to take before dropping 25 feet.
The sun sets as the wildfire smoke from out west rolls into the air above Lake Gogebic. We couldn't smell any smoke but there was no doubt it was there.
