While walking around the Silver Lake Sand Dunes you can find many old trees, but one caught my eye. The tree in the front reminded me of a prehistoric skull.
If you are a Michigander chances are you have seen a picture of this lighthouse before. It can be found on some of the Michigan License plates. White Shoal Lighthouse is the only barber pole (red/white) lighthouse in the US and can be found in Lake Michigan. The warm glow of the sunset casted its beauty onto this unique and historic lighthouse.
As many of you know I love to photograph the Mackinac Bridge. I have been wanting to capture the bridge with beautiful thunderstorms clouds for years. Time and time again it was simply too nice out. Well after years I finally got it! I loved that the sun lit up the water near the shoreline and gave the water a tropical feel.
