No matter where you are you can always find beauty around you. This Mid-Michigan park; Eastgate Park is no exception. If you follow those footprints you will reach the start of the trailhead. The trail leads you into the woods where you can follow along the side of the Red Cedar River.
I don’t know why I drove past Agate Falls in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, so many times but I am glad I made a point to stop here this time. The Ontonagon River falls 40 feet in a beautiful cascading fashion to give you this beautiful view. The trail to this viewpoint is not for the faint of heart but well worth it.
The lake laid down as the sun was starting to set on the beautiful White Shoal Lighthouse. The reflection of the lighthouse was reminiscent of a Monet painting.
