At the western edge of the Porcupine Mountain State Park in the Upper Peninsula is the Presque Isle River and several waterfalls. Not only are the waterfalls beautiful but the trails to them are as well.
Since it was snowing in Marquette, Michigan I figured I would take a drive up to Big Bay and check out the view at Thomas Rock. As I got closer the sun came out, which was such a welcomed treat because the sun has been hiding for most of the fall up here. I walked up, well rather ran up to Thomas Rock because I didn't want to miss the beautiful sun. This is the first view I saw and I thought it was perfect; the beautiful sun shinning on the trees perfectly with these awesome clouds. I ran around and took as many shots as I could before the sun disappeared again. It only lasted about 15 minutes and the sun was gone and it started to snow heavily.
