Peak colors reflected on Lake Powell south of Munising, Michigan on a lovely fall morning.
Winter was still holding on in late February, as Icebergs lingered near the Frankfort Lighthouse in Frankfort, Michigan. It didn't seem that windy out but the waves were still crashing into the break wall. I liked the contrast between the icebergs, the wave and the very pretty blue tones of the Lake Michigan.
I couldn't get enough of the blue ice in Mackinaw City. It was very interesting because the ice was really soft on top with a little layer of snow, then below the snow it had really brittle ice crystals, that when you tapped it, it acted and sounded like shattered glass but was still very brittle. Also most of the blue color of the ice was on the very bottom.
