Lake Michigan gives you some pretty amazing sunsets. It is no wonder I keep finding myself back on the lakeshore.
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is always changing, and that is mostly due to our harsh winters. As you can see a large section has collapsed into Lake Superior. One can only imagine the sound it had to have made when it fell.
One of the best hikes in Michigan (in my opinion) is the Chapel-Mosquito Loop in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Although it is one of the longer hikes, it is well worth it to see views like this. On the right is one of the famous rock formations called, Grand Portal Point.
