We were predicted to get about an inch of snow so I didn’t think much about taking pictures in the morning. However, we were very surprised when woke up to about 3-4 inches and snow covered beautiful trees. I jumped in my car and drove around for several hours taking pictures in all the places I could think of. We ended up getting about 5-6 inches of snow and by midday the wind knocked most of the snow off the trees. I am glad I went out to enjoy this winter wonderland while it was around.
Tunnel Park in Holland, Michigan is a great place to check out a Lake Michigan Sunset. It wasn't looking good for the sunset as it was almost 100% cloudy. The only reason I stayed was because at the horizon there was a thin opening where the sun could shine though. The sun had set and I was starting to pack up when then the sky opened up. The sun lit up the clouds from under the horizon. I am glad I waited it out.
