With the morning sun popping over the horizon it shined brightly through the thick melting ice and lit up the amazing blue colors of the ice.
With the sky exploding with color, we (@colbybrownphotography photo workshop group) desperately drove around Iceland trying to find something to shoot. The weather was poor with storms all around, so we didn't have any intentions of shooting, and of course we were not near any ionic Iceland locations. We found this interesting sheep farm with a beautiful cascading stream. I loved the challenge of trying to create something beautiful out of a location that was not necessarily ionic.
With the snow squalls passing to the east the sun popped out and lit up the amazing fall colors. I have been to Sugarloaf Mountain many times before in the fall but this time was different, the clouds were amazing, the colors were peak (no matter which way you looked), and the water was so blue. I couldn’t have asked for a better fall day. Well, I take that back, I could have done without the snowy morning hike to the top. :P Luckily it warmed up quickly and melted the snow.
