After a longer walk than originally thought along the beach (from Ludington State Park) we were rewarded seemingly out of nowhere with the view of the Big Sable Point Lighthouse.
After days of snow and clouds, the sun finally came out and shinned beautifully on the Grand Island Ice Caves. Subsequently, this caused the ice to melt. While it created wet conditions inside the cave it didn’t matter because the beauty of the cave overcame that discomfort.
