With the snow squalls passing to the east the sun popped out and lit up the amazing fall colors. I have been to Sugarloaf Mountain many times before in the fall but this time was different, the clouds were amazing, the colors were peak (no matter which way you looked), and the water was so blue. I couldn’t have asked for a better fall day. Well, I take that back, I could have done without the snowy morning hike to the top. :P Luckily it warmed up quickly and melted the snow.
With the sun slipping in and out of the clouds as it headed towards the horizon, I snapped a few photographs before darkness took over. I was amazed how well the water's colors held as dusk grew closer.
With the sun slowing peaking over the horizon, the ice caves were illuminated. The sun shined on the inside, lighting up the massive icicles.
