Opened in 1895, this lighthouse is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the State of Michigan. It is especially hard to miss if you are one of the 15,000 Mackinac Island daily visitors. Standing 56' high this lighthouse marks the south side of the channel between Round Island and Mackinac Island.

Oswegatchi or the more common name; D.H. Day Farm is synonymous with the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. This former cattle and hog farm has this beautiful and unique barn which was built in the late 1800's. I loved the contrast between the white barn and the fall foliage.
