Just as the sun was setting the Dyrhólaey Lighthouse in Dyrhólaey, Iceland, turned its light on. It was such a warm light that balanced nicely with the sunlight and the lovely spring flowers.
Just past this edge is a 200 foot drop. As you can see the tough weather off of Lake Superior have whipped away the dirt surrounding the roots. In the distance you can see Grand Portal Point (Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, near Munising, Michigan).
Key West is one of my favorite places to visit, not necessarily for landscape photography but for a great place to just get away and live on island time, even if it is only for a few days. After a very short boat ride over to Sunset Key for dinner my husband and I were treated to this wonderful dinner view. I can see why this key got its name. Oh and dinner was wonderful!
