One of the fun features of visiting Canyon Falls in the UP of Michigan is that you get to hike along the side of the Sturgeon River. At the beginning of the trail the rivers seems so mild but as the elevation drops the rapids start to build as seen here, and just behind me, the power of the river is shown when the water falls 15 feet into a canyon.
Silver Lake Sand Dunes has so many wonderful views. After walking and photographing the dunes we headed back into town. I couldn't help but notice the impending storm heading over the dunes. The color variations of the clouds was fascinating. I liked the contrast between the dunes and the dark moody sky.
One of the many amazing sunsets at Bean Point in Anna Maria, Florida.
