Most people wouldn't give a puddle a second thought but since becoming a photographer my brain analyzes everything! I embrace finding puddles whenever I am out shooting because I love the added element it gives photographs. Trying to find elements like a puddle really makes me slow down and enjoy the small things that these beautiful scenes have to offer.

My family and I hiked the Chapel Loop trail in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (Michigan) last fall and loved it! Not only was the Lake Superior part of the hike beautiful but the hike back to the parking lot overlooking Chapel Lake was great and something I wasn't expecting.
