The cliffs on this part of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore shoreline are not as tall as the western cliffs but are equally as beautiful and are well worth the hike. The rocks at the bottom of this area have an unique pitting, almost reminding me of a old tropical reef.
The colors at the Grand Island Ice Caves were just amazing. I couldn’t get over how colorful they were and how many different shades of colors they were. It was a really nice bonus to an already amazing sight.
