Winter wheat field in Williamston, Michigan on May 29th 2016
We were predicted to get about an inch of snow so I didn’t think much about taking pictures in the morning. However, we were very surprised when woke up to about 3-4 inches and snow covered beautiful trees. I jumped in my car and drove around for several hours taking pictures in all the places I could think of. We ended up getting about 5-6 inches of snow and by midday the wind knocked most of the snow off the trees. I am glad I went out to enjoy this winter wonderland while it was around.
Welcoming boaters into the harbor of the Grand River, the outer Lighthouse in Grand Haven, Michigan stands 42 feet tall and was first lit in 1905. This unique view is possible because the catwalk has been removed to do repairs to pier. I loved the reflection of the lighthouse in the wave puddles.
